This is an old but guaranteed show stopper. Scout Bucks, by far has been one of the most successful ways of assuring attendance at Service Unit meetings. The object of Scout Bucks was to collect as many as you could, so you could bid when the Service Unit had an auction which could happen at any of the of the Service Unit meetings. Never announce the auctions ahead of time, hints are fine, but don't let them know the exact meeting. Normally you will have two big auctions and sometimes you can throw in a small auction and have only one or two items. This attendance gimmick was such a success that it became necessary to print up larger domination of bills, such as 5's, 10's and even 20's. (make sure that the domination's are different colors, easier to sort) By printing larger dominations it did not take a warehouse to store the money.
