Within the
framework of GSUSA and your council insure that compliance with the regulations governed
by the following are met: Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Position Statements,
governmental and affiliated organization regulations and standards.
Attend all service unit meetings.
With service unit service team members, design a plan for recruiting girls and adult
leadership with the service unit.
Become acquainted with the principals of public/private schools, local religious
organization personnel, community center personnel, and home school organizations leaders
to discuss recruitment methods and the distribution of recruitment flyers.
Using demographic data, identify targeted areas for recruitment
Conduct trainings for service unit volunteers participating in recruitment events.
Ensure the recruitment efforts take steps to recruit girls with disabilities and girls
from diverse populations within the service unit.
Follow-up with recruitment events/activities as designated by service unit and Council way
of work.
Complete and submit all reports as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Membership in Girl Scouts of the U.S.A.
Accept the principles of the Girl
Scout movement and the Girl Scout Promise and law.
Knowledge and understanding of the
Girl Scout Program.
Ability to work with girls and/or
adults.
Willingness to acquire and impart
information through training, conferences and reports.
Willingness to commit time, energy and
interest necessary to meet the requirements.
Ability to organize, direct, delegate
and motivate individuals and groups.
Ability to plan, analyze and evaluate
